Neighborhoods

What defines a neighborhood? Some are defined officially; others emerge with a character all their own. Think of our favorite cities: New York, San Francisco, Paris, Venice, Prague. Each of these cities contain a treasure trove of fascinating neighborhoods, each one completely unique and not available anywhere else.

Forget the bland strip malls. The shopping centers and urban sprawl that contain the same dozen stores found everywhere else in America.

If you want your neighborhood to be unique, seek out the shops, restaurants and cultural centers that you can't find anywhere else.

Imagine being steps away from a cozy coffee shop, its walls lined with art made just a few houses away. Or a wine store owned by the same family for decades, who are able to pick out the perfect wine for your special dinner, every single time. What if you could buy your groceries from a market close enough that you could carry your groceries home easily? Or make a quick trip to a hardware store for the nails to finish that project?

Many of us already do.

Some of us have gotten a tad lazy - failing to savor the singular aspects of our communities. But not to worry - we've made it a bit easier for Denver and Metro residents to rediscover the retailers, service providers, restaurants and cultural hubs that truly make our city extraordinary.

So step out a bit. Find something old or something new, but find something that is truly ours.
